Creativity, resiliency & empathy, working in synergy to build a connected community of effective problem solvers.
Why We Started Ripyl
We started Ripyl because problem solving is a dying art.
Our team has worked with hundreds of companies over the last 15 years to help them become more effective. Through our work with corporates, we’ve realised that if we can help our next level of leaders, our students, become more effective, the world will be a much better place.
So, Ripyl was born. Our programmes use a design thinking foundation that we build upon to unleash creativity, empathy, resilience, and most importantly, problem solving. In essence, we want you to be more effective.
If your school or business needs help, get in touch. We’d be over the moon the help!
Our Team
We’re lucky to have a variety of educational professionals behind the scenes at Ripyl and we are constantly adding value to the Ripyl programmes by partnering with other organsitions that understand the importance of personal growth, especially in our youth.
At the coal face is our founder, Dave Craig.
Dave Craig
Dave’s passion lies in empowering others to be the best they can be. He’s a critical thinker, loves problem solving and has a clever knack when it comes to building team.
A native of California, Dave played college basketball, created a niche software company, and was instrumental is creating an online banking system for a financial institution before we even knew what ‘bill pay’ was!
In his spare time, Dave leads a small investment group that helps fledgling Kiwi companies take on the world, is working with his four daughters on a new start-up, and has an unbelievably talented and supportive wife who has had her own design and marketing agency for over 15 years.
“I’ve been very lucky to have had supportive parents and a fantastic relationship with my grandparents that laid a super strong foundation for my life. It’s now my turn to help the youth of today become more effective problem solvers while not forgetting creativity and what fun is all about,”
Some Feedback
“Dave came in to work with our Rawe Creative crew to help them establish their point of difference and marketing plan for bringing on new clients. What Dave did was spark something in the crew that sent them into a huge planning mode on a rebrand that has taken them to the next level of business. Although there is still work to be done Dave started something that we would never have been able to do by ourselves.”
“Thank you for planning and facilitating an excellent team Strategy Day for us. We loved it !
The feedback from the team has been overwhelmingly positive. The general theme from the comments was, we all enjoyed the interactive sessions and learned some important things we can take back to our business which will help improve it.”
“Dave is a very knowledgeable about all aspects of business and I have learnt a lot from him. The intensive market validation course that he ran was fantastic, exposing us to so much information. I learnt so much and am still continuing to do so as am referring to those many extra resources that he recommended. I have been always grateful to gain the knowledge and experience that he has to help me with my journey. I always find Dave to be completely honest, one of the best qualities a person can have.
You have taught me some of the most vital lessons about business - how people play that major role. Thank you for helping my product, business and myself to become better and stronger.”
“Thoroughly enjoyable, kids put a lot of effort and thought into their projects. Kids these days have a lot of confidence and energy which should be harnessed as much as possible.
Ripyl is doing a great job with them, pass on our congratulations to them for their projects and good luck with the final stages. I like the school Charter (The Five Keys) with a few of them fitting in to what Ripyl is doing.”
“It was great fun. The energy and creativity of kids is such an inspiration!”
